RMS क्या है?
RMS का full form Rashtriya Military Schools है।
Rashtriya Military Schools भारत के प्रमुख residential public schools में शामिल हैं और Ministry of Defence के अधीन संचालित होते हैं। ये schools CBSE से affiliated हैं और students को academics के साथ-साथ discipline, leadership, physical fitness और overall personality development का वातावरण देते हैं।
वर्तमान में भारत में 5 Rashtriya Military Schools हैं:
- RMS Chail – Himachal Pradesh
- RMS Ajmer – Rajasthan
- RMS Dholpur – Rajasthan
- RMS Belgaum – Karnataka
- RMS Bengaluru – Karnataka
इन schools में admission मुख्य रूप से RMS Common Entrance Test (RMS CET) के माध्यम से Class 6 और Class 9 में होता है।
RMS में Admission क्यों खास है?

RMS CET 2027-28 में Admission किन Classes में होगा?
RMS CET के माध्यम से मुख्य रूप से:
Class 6 Admission
Class 6 में admission के लिए boys और girls दोनों apply कर सकते हैं, subject to the eligibility conditions mentioned in the official notification.
Class 9 Admission
Class 9 admission के लिए eligibility और vacancy conditions notification में दी जाती हैं। पिछले admission cycle में Class 9 के लिए boys और girls दोनों के लिए category-wise lists दिखाई गई थीं, इसलिए 2027-28 के लिए final eligibility को official notification से verify करना जरूरी होगा।
RMS CET 2027-28 Form कब आएगा?
यही इस समय सबसे ज्यादा पूछा जाने वाला सवाल है।
10 September 2026 तक RMS CET 2027-28 का official application form जारी नहीं हुआ है।
हालांकि पिछले वर्ष की timeline को देखें तो application process September में शुरू हुआ था।

Official RMS/NIELIT portal के अनुसार पिछले वर्ष registration 10 September 2025 से 9 October 2025 तक चला था। Written examination 7 December 2025 को आयोजित हुआ था।
इसलिए इस साल भी parents को September 2026 से official notification पर नजर रखनी चाहिए।

अभी की स्थिति को बहुत simple तरीके से समझिए:

लेकिन ये expected dates हैं। Official notification आने के बाद ही final dates confirm होंगी।
एक important बात यह भी है कि RMS का official application portal अभी previous 2026-27 admission cycle की information दिखा रहा है। इसलिए अभी किसी unofficial website पर दिखाई जा रही date को final notification न समझें।
RMS CET की तैयारी कब से शुरू करनी चाहिए?
अगर आप सोच रहे हैं कि “Form तो अभी आया ही नहीं, तैयारी बाद में शुरू करेंगे”, तो यह सबसे बड़ी गलती हो सकती है।
RMS CET एक competitive school entrance examination है। Form आने के बाद तैयारी शुरू करने के बजाय students को पहले से अपना syllabus, basic concepts और question-solving practice मजबूत करनी चाहिए।
खासकर Class 6 के students के लिए:
- Mathematics
- English
- Intelligence Test
- General Knowledge & Current Affairs
पर लगातार काम करना जरूरी है।
Class 9 aspirants को अपने academic subjects के साथ-साथ English, Hindi, Social Science, Science और Mathematics की अच्छी तैयारी रखनी चाहिए।
RMS CET में Selection कैसे होता है?
RMS admission केवल written examination तक सीमित नहीं है।
Broadly selection process में ये stages शामिल होती हैं:
1. Written Entrance Examination
सबसे पहले candidates को RMS CET written examination देना होता है।
2. Interview
Written examination में qualifying/shortlisting criteria पूरा करने वाले candidates को आगे interview के लिए बुलाया जाता है।
3. Medical Examination
Interview के बाद shortlisted candidates का medical examination होता है।
4. Final Merit / Admission
Written performance, interview, medical fitness, category और available vacancies आदि के आधार पर final admission process आगे बढ़ता है।
पिछले cycle के official portal पर written examination के बाद interview shortlists, interview call letters और उसके बाद multiple merit lists जारी की गई थीं।
RMS CET की तैयारी में अभी से क्या करें?
Notification का इंतजार करते हुए preparation रोकना सही strategy नहीं है।
अगर आपका बच्चा RMS CET 2027-28 target कर रहा है, तो अभी से:
Mathematics मजबूत करें
Basic arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percentage, ratio, geometry और word problems जैसे topics पर command बनाएं।
English पर काम करें
Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, sentence formation और error detection पर नियमित practice करें।
Intelligence Test की Practice करें
Analogy, series, coding-decoding, classification, direction sense और logical reasoning जैसे questions की practice जरूरी है।
GK & Current Affairs पढ़ें
RMS जैसी exams में सिर्फ school textbooks पर निर्भर रहना पर्याप्त नहीं होता। General Awareness और current affairs की regular preparation भी जरूरी है।

क्या अभी RMS CET की तैयारी शुरू करना सही समय है?
हाँ, बिल्कुल।
अगर form September या October में आता है और examination December के आसपास होता है, तो students के पास preparation के लिए बहुत लंबा समय नहीं रहेगा।
