What is RMS CET?
The Rashtriya Military Schools Common Entrance Test (RMS CET) is the entrance examination for admission to Classes VI and IX in Rashtriya Military Schools.
Rashtriya Military Schools are English-medium, co-educational, residential public schools functioning under the Ministry of Defence. There are currently five Rashtriya Military Schools:

RMS Class 6 Eligibility
For admission to Class VI, a candidate:
- Must have passed Class V or must be studying in Class V and pass it before admission.
- Must be between 10 and 13 years of age as on 31 March 2027.
- Must have been born between 1 April 2014 and 31 March 2017, both dates inclusive.

RMS CET Reservation Policy
The Information Bulletin specifies the following category-wise reservation:

RMS CET 2026 Selection Process
The RMS CET 2026 selection process consists of four stages:
Stage I – Written Examination
Candidates appear for the RMS CET written examination.
Stage II – Medical Examination
Shortlisted candidates undergo medical examination at nominated Military/Command Hospitals.
