Key Highlights of AISSEE 2025:
- Application Period: The online application window is open from December 24, 2024, to January 13, 2025, until 5:00 PM. Applicants must complete the fee transaction by January 14, 2025, up to 11:50 PM.

- Class VI Admission: Candidates should be between 10 and 12 years of age as of March 31, 2025, meaning they were born between April 1, 2012, and March 31, 2014. Applicants must have completed or be studying in Class V. Admission is open to both boys and girls.
- Class IX Admission: Candidates should be between 13 and 15 years of age as of March 31, 2025, indicating a birth date between April 1, 2009, and March 31, 2011. Applicants must have completed or be studying in Class VIII. Admission is open to boys only.
- Application Process:
- Registration: Candidates must register online using a unique email ID and mobile number.
- Application Form: Complete the online application form and note the system-generated Application Number.
- Document Upload: Upload scanned images of the candidate’s photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, date of birth certificate, domicile certificate, caste/community/category certificate (if applicable), and relevant certificates for defense category candidates.
- Fee Payment: The application fee is ₹800 for General/Wards of Defence personnel and ex-servicemen/OBC (NCL) candidates, and ₹650 for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes candidates. The fee is non-refundable.
- Examination Details:
- Class VI Exam: The duration is 150 minutes, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
- Class IX Exam: The duration is 180 minutes, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
- The medium of the question paper is available in 13 languages, based on the candidate’s preference.
- Admission Process: Admissions are merit-based, determined by performance in AISSEE 2025, followed by e-counseling, medical fitness verification, and document verification. Reservations apply as per government norms.
