RIMC Released new merit list on 20th Sept

The Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) has officially announced the RIMC Result for June 2025 entrance exam on 23rd august 2025, held for admission to the January 2026 term. Now They have released the merit list based on different criteria. Aspirants and parents were eagerly waiting for this moment, and now the merit lists are live on the official RIMC website.

What’s New released by RIMC?

On 20 September 2025, RIMC published four separate merit lists to make result checking easier:

  • State-Wise Merit List (Boys)
  • All India Merit List (Boys)
  • Zone-Wise Merit List (Girls)
  • All India Merit List (Girls)

This categorised approach helps candidates quickly locate their names based on region and gender. Each list is clearly marked with a “new” badge, ensuring that parents and students can spot the latest updates without confusion.

How to Check Your RIMC Result 2025

  1. Visit the official RIMC website.
  2. Navigate to the Latest Results section.
  3. Click on the relevant link—State-wise, All India, or Zone-wise.
  4. Download the PDF merit list and search for your roll number or name.

Next Steps After the Result

Candidates whose names appear in the merit list will receive a formal call letter for the medical examination and viva-voce, which are the next stages of the selection process. Be sure to keep your documents ready and monitor the official website for updates.

Reserved / Reserve Candidates in the RIMC Merit Lists

When the RIMC merit lists are released — State-wise, All India, or Zone-wise — you might sometimes see the term “Reserved” or “Reserve Candidate / Reserve Merit List”. This is an important concept. Below is what this means, how it works, and what candidates in reserve should do.

What does “Reserved / Reserve Candidate” mean?

  • Reserve candidate means someone who is not in the primary merit list but is kept on standby. If any selected candidate is unable to take admission (or fails any subsequent step such as medical, interview result, or fails to join in time), reserve candidates may be called up to fill those vacant seats.
  • In official RIMC documents, there is mention of the All India Reserve Merit List, which is essentially a backup list of candidates, in case regular selected candidates choose not to join.

Why This Result Matters

RIMC is one of India’s most prestigious feeder institutions for the National Defence Academy (NDA). Securing a place here is a significant step toward a future in the Armed Forces. With the RIMC Entrance Exam 2025 results now public, successful candidates can start preparing for the next phase with confidence.

Tip for Aspirants: If you didn’t make it this time, start early for the next session. Regular practice, mock tests, and guidance from experienced mentors can boost your chances.
